An immersive restaurant right in the heart of Alderley Edge, just south of central Manchester, Victor’s celebrates all the flair of modern dining with the everyday luxury that comes from its Asian-inspired menu. From the delicate flavour combinations to the vibrant colours found in every dish and every cocktail, the brief we received from Victor’s was one of playful energy – with the team looking to our restaurant interior design experts to really optimise the way they used their plethora of natural light, while still creating intimate dining spaces for all occasions.
Everyday luxury is very much the aim of this restaurant, which is built on the idea that Asian flavours and welcoming spaces should be as accessible as possible. By locating the restaurant outside of a major city, the business immediately benefits from a more targeted clientele – boasting an ever-growing legion of fans who return to the venue to soak up the food, the cocktails, and the atmosphere.
As part of this, our team of experts pitched a series of picturesque and photo-friendly features that would encourage diners to view their booking as part of a broad experience – with the hanging wisteria and large arch-shaped windows playing into the romantic vibe. The Victor’s logo remains a striking focal point within the restaurant, while the mix of vibrant and colourful wallpapers and simple furnishings ensures that the restaurant floor is as functional and comfortable as it is immersive and interesting to look at.
And it doesn’t end there – with all the finer details of this interior design project giving our team an opportunity to try out new colour combinations, play with textures, and consider the impact of juxtaposing and often contradictory details and integrated features within a single space. The glass panels and mirrors, for example, contradict the black frame drop lights which are set into the hanging wisteria – however when combined in the restaurant environment they manage to create a rustic and romantic finish.
The epitome of everyday luxury, just as the client wanted – this restaurant is as much an experience as it is a meal to remember.
